Inchin’s Bamboo Garden

by | Oct 27, 2015 | Food & Drink

A little bit north of Atlanta- in Johns Creek- lies a culturally-rich, “Pan Asian” restaurant that infuses its food with incredible flavors. Inchin’s Bamboo Garden opened in 2003 and now has 13 locations all across the country (and another location opening soon in Australia). I had the opportunity to eat at Inchin’s last week and I cannot wait to return!

Something that really makes it stand out from other restaurants is the décor. I spoke with Megha Agrawal, the social media director at Inchin’s Bamboo Garden, and she explained how many of the pieces on the walls and throughout the restaurant come straight from Asian countries. The doors on the wall in the picture below came from China!

But enough about the décor, let’s talk food. First up were the Vegetable Tulips and the Dragon’s Fire. The vegetable tulips were hearty and flavorful enough for any meat-eater. And the dragon’s fire chicken had just the right amount of kick. *And don’t forget: next time you’re at Inchin’s, show my Instagram photo to get either of these appetizers for FREE! (from now until Nov. 22).

And make sure to use their sauces while you’re there! They are killer AND are available to purchase. My favorite was the chili garlic sauce.

Next I tried the Crispy Lamb Pecking- crispy shredded lamb, green pepper, carrots and a tangy sauce- and the Shrimp with Manchurian Sauce. Something I really love about Inchin’s is that it takes typical Chinese dishes and infuses them with Indian spices, making it a little more flavorful and a little spicier than normal. These two dishes were a great example of that.

Last (but absolutely not least) were the Chocolate Spring Rolls with Vanilla Dip. I was almost too full to order dessert, but I am so happy that I did! These are a MUST try. Envision a spring roll. Now take out the veggie mix and swap it for gooey chocolate. And then ditch the duck sauce and add in a vanilla ice-cream-esque dip… Heaven.
