Although you probably can’t tell by looking at my Instagram, I love spending money on not just food, but also clothes! Unfortunately, my desires are often bigger than my wallet. But lucky for us Atlantans, there is an awesome outlet mall located just 45 minutes north of the city!
The North Georgia Premium Outlets shopping mall is straight up Highway 400 in Dawsonville, Georgia. And while it may not be the closest mall to all of us, the savings are well worth the drive. This outdoor shopping center offers savings of 25-65% off with incredible brands such as Kate Spade, Burberry, Ralph Lauren, Nike, Pottery Barn and many more.
Last weekend I decided it was time to finally put away my winter clothes and upgrade my spring wardrobe, so I got in my car and drove north. I stopped in Nike (time to work on my summer bod! haha), Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th (my personal favorite), Bath & Body Works (I still get nostalgic when I smell anything cucumber melon), Francesca’s (one of my go-to’s) and more. I really was so impressed by not only the prices, but also the selection! Sometimes outlet malls seem to be a compilation of the rejects, but NGPO has quality items.
The outlet mall also has great home accessories. And since I’m moving into a new apartment next month, I couldn’t help but salivate over all of the beautiful pieces of furniture and cookware. NGPO has a Pottery Barn, Le Creuset (I want one in every color!), Restoration Hardware and Williams-Sonoma. I’m definitely going to have to make another trip before my move!
And true to ATL Bucket List fashion, I ended my day with drum roll please… FOOD! The North Georgia Premium Outlets has a food pavilion, which just so happens to include one of my favorite frozen yogurt places: Freshens! The perfect snack after a long day of shopping!
So as the weather warms up and you put your winter coats and boots away, I suggest you check out the North Georgia Premium Outlets! Because, why pay full price when you can get the same quality items for less?!
