Zoo Atlanta’s Brew at the Zoo

by | May 19, 2016 | Events

There are many different attractions around Atlanta that make this city so special. With World of Coca-Cola, Skyview, Piedmont Park, The Beltline and more, Atlanta residents and visitors are never short on fun things to do. And one of my favorite can’t-miss Atlanta attractions is Zoo Atlanta.

Zoo Atlanta, located in Grant Park, was founded in 1889 and has been an Atlanta staple ever since. While at the zoo, visitors have the chance to see a myriad of animals (did you know it is one of four zoos in the United States that currently house giant pandas?), experience live wildlife shows, play with animals at the petting zoo and so much more. There is always something going on, making it a great place for kids and adults alike.

But while children are usually encouraged to attend zoo events, there are a few times each year that Zoo Atlanta celebrates with only the grown-ups. And one of those events is coming up this month: Brew at the Zoo!

Zoo Atlanta is throwing its 9th annual Brew at the Zoo event on Saturday, May 28 from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Guests 21 and up can explore the zoo, sample more than 70 types of beer and wine and enjoy live music! (And yes, the pandas will be there, too!)

Tickets are available now and can be purchased here. There are both general admission and VIP ticket options, with VIP tickets including extra perks like a  pre-party, air conditioned lounge, event t-shirt and exclusive VIP bathrooms. Food will be available for all to purchase. But between the animals, the music and the booze, no matter which type of ticket you have, you are guaranteed to have an unforgettable night! I personally have been counting down the days!

Have you attended Brew at the Zoo before? Will I see you there this year? Let me know in the comments!
