When it comes to fried chicken in the South, there are a few greats that come to mind. So when I found out that Shake Shack was releasing its own fried chicken sandwich I must admit I was a little skeptical. Could anything beat my beloved Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich??

And the verdict is in..  and winner winner CHICKEN dinner! Shake Shack may be known for it’s killer burgers, but step aside Chick-fil-A, because there’s a new fried chicken sandwich in town! After just one bite I was convinced.

Shake Shack’s “Chick’n Shack” is made with cage-free chicken breast, pickles, shredded lettuce and a buttermilk herb mayonnaise. Each flavor works together to create an explosion of taste. If you haven’t tried it yet, I suggest you add it to your ATL Bucket List!

Did you know that Shake Shack serves wine and beer? I opted for their “Shack Red,” which is made exclusively for Shake Shack by Frog’s Leap in Napa Valley, California. Because who doesn’t need some yummy wine to wash down their food!

And if you still have room, you have to end your Shake Shack experience with a concrete. Isn’t there always room for dessert? I’m going to be real with you… I’ve never tasted a concrete that I didn’t like. But the Campfire S’mores flavor might be my favorite. It is a chocolate custard with marshmallow sauce, graham crackers and dark chocolate chunks from Atlanta’s very own Cacao! YUM.
