The Roof at Ponce City Market

by | Jun 2, 2016 | Activities

Ponce City Market just keeps getting better. With it’s proximity to The Beltline, amazing food and shops, the addition of the Tuesday evening farmers market and more, PCM almost seems too good to be true. Oh and in case you haven’t heard, this summer Ponce City Market is about to get even cooler by opening up a brand new rooftop that is sure to blow your mind.

Ponce City Market’s rooftop is comprised of two parts: Skyline Park, a Coney Island-inspired amusement park, and Nine Mile Station, a modern beer garden. Guests will be able to ride up to the rooftop in this retro-looking elevator located near the entrance to PCM’s Anthropologie.

Skyline Park is scheduled to open up in late June/early July, and I have a feeling its about to become Atlanta’s next hot spot. Get ready to play some mini golf, participate in boardwalk-style games and ride on the amusement park rides. And Skyline Park would not be complete without some food! Luckily, guests will be able to chow down on hot dogs, snow cones and more! The perfect complement to a round of putt putt if you ask me.

Nine Mile Station, the beer garden, is set to open up a bit later this summer, but will definitely be worth the wait! (My sources tell me it should be open sometime in August!) One of the best parts about the Ponce City Market rooftop is the incredible view– It really might be my new favorite view of the city. And staring out at Atlanta’s gorgeous skyline with a nice, cold drink sounds like the perfect summer activity. Guests will be able to enjoy both food and spirits at this indoor/outdoor beer garden.

I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait for this rooftop to be open to the public! What are you most excited for? Let me know in the comments!
